The founder Mr Zaw Myo Kyaw with many years of experience in the furniture manufacturing industry in Myanmar, founded United Wood Industries with a mission to build an innovative company that can address global demand of Burmese Teak (Myanmar Teak) products & other Hardwood Products. Strong long term partnerships with clients from all around the world drove growth and the manufacturing facilities grew to 14.900 Sqm (Building area of 11.150 Sqm) with more than 200 permanent employees and 111 unique machines by 2014.

Saw Mill Building
Creation of a Saw Mill Building in order to create a more efficient production line and reduce costs.
2014
Finger Joint Factory
In order to reduce waste and add additional revenue streams United Wood Industries opens a production line of finger joint furniture.
2019
Investment in Bamboo processing machinery for expansion in the growing Bamboo product segment.
